The Data Dictionary: Cornerstone of an Application
A data dictionary is a repository of information describing an application's data. In APPX, this information includes both data specifications and supporting documentation.
Data specifications include information such as a file's Descriptive Name or a field's Length. The data dictionary is the cornerstone of application development. All processes operate on the basis of specifications in the data dictionary. In APPX, you use the data dictionary to define all the attributes of data.
